Life Changers Academy provides children with high quality, systematic, spiritual led curricula. The WEE Learn Curriculum serves as a guideline for teachers as they plan instruction and observe children’s progress in spiritual, intellectual, physical, social & emotional and creative development. It is used in all classrooms with the additional component of The Creative Curriculum implemented in our Pre-Kindergarten classrooms.
A main component of The Creative Curriculum is the Developmental Continuum which shows the sequence of steps children take as they master skills in all areas of development. The teachers use this tool to complete a comprehensive assessment of each child's development two times a year. The information about your child gained from this assessment will be shared with you during Parent/Teacher Conferences held in the fall and the spring.
Preschool (3-4yrs.)
Preschoolers are eager to learn.
The WEE Learn Curriculum combines both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. This curriculum provides clear direction for the teacher to address content in intellectual development, physical development and creative development, yet never loses sight of the primary importance of social/emotional development in children's learning. Our teachers provide plenty of individual attention to support your child’s unique needs.

VPK (4-5yrs.)
Preparing for school and a lifetime of learning.
In our Pre-Kindergarten classrooms we use a combination of The WEE Learn Curriculum with the additional component of The Creative Curriculum. These curricula meet the Florida Pre-K Content Standards and prepare children for future school success in Kindergarten and beyond. All of our classroom staff receives specialized training in these curricula to help ensure the successful implementation of both programs.
Our Pre-K curriculum promotes independence while preparing your child for the next step – Kindergarten!
We make the transition smoother by:
- Helping children become more familiar with an organized environment
- Focusing more on group play
- Developing social skills, such as listening, sharing and cooperation
Before & After Care (5-9yrs)
Promotes collaboration and positive group interaction.
Our program provides an engaging environment where school-age children can spend time with friends before and after school. We work with Orange County school calendar and offer fun-filled programs during holidays and out-of-school days.
Our Before & After School program:
- Helps school-age children develop a sense of who they are and what they can do.
- Offers exciting activities, hands-on exploration, and daily homework time.
Summer VPK and Summer Camp
Students who turned four years old before September 1, 2010 and have not yet been apart of VPK Program will qualify for our FREE 9-week program that consists of Math and Science, Music and Health, Language Comprehension, Goal Setting as well as arts and crafts, water play and field trips. Accepting students ages 3- 9 years old Life Changers Academy offers a summer camp that they won’t forget. Geared around fun summer themes this 9-week program is jammed packed with a number of fun and exciting learning activities and adventures.
- Registration begins May 1, 2011.
- FREE Summer VPK hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Extended Care is provided for a fee).
- Summer Camp hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Camp tuition is $75.00 weekly. (Extended care is provided for an additional fee). If you enroll on or before June 1, 2011 you will receive a 10% discount on tuition. The cost will be $67.50 weekly.
- Summer VPK & Summer Camp begins June13 and ends August 12, 2011.
